Trinity Funerals offers cremation directly from our own chapel in Cairns. We are able to arrange a service of your choosing in our new chapel using our own celebrant or a celebrant of your choosing. Our facilities include a music system, large flat screen for the presentation of DVD or photo montage and catering facilities.

Cremation from any location, church or chapel

Trinity funerals is happy to arrange a cremation service from any chapel, church or location of your choosing. We will arrange the celebrant of your choosing and ensure a memorable service.

Cremation at Cairns Crematorium

We are privileged to be able to offer Cremation Services from Cairns Crematorium and Chapel as an alternative to our Chapel in Smithfield. Cairns Crematorium is situated on the south side of Cairns.

By having our Crematorium Chapel in Northern Cairns and access to Cairns  Crematorium Chapel in Southern Cairns, we are able to offer convenience and minimal travel for people living throughout Cairns and surrounding areas. 

Non-attended Cremation

For a very simple non-attended cremation, we will meet with you to do the legal documentation and then ensure a dignified cremation and return of ashes. If you like we can arrange a ceremony with the ashes at a later date.

Returning the Ashes

Following cremation you have a number of choices:

• You can collect the ashes from our Funeral Home
• We can deliver the ashes personally to you in your home or other location of your choosing
• We can look after the ashes for a limited time until the time is right for you to collect them or have them delivered
• We can arrange to have the ashes inurned into a niche, memorial garden, cemetery or other appropriate location
• We can arrange to have the ashes placed under a tree that will act as a memorial into the future
• We can arrange a ceremony with the ashes in attendance
